AI Education for Youth (K–12)

AI Education for Youth introduces AI to kids in language that fits their age, with the safety pieces built in from the start rather than bolted on later. Delivered through schools, libraries, and community programs, with a companion session for parents and educators so the adults in the room are working from the same information.

Sessions run 90–120 minutes.

The five core experiences

What Is AI, Really?

A hands-on, age-appropriate introduction. Kids get to see what these tools do, ask questions, and come away with an accurate mental model instead of either magic or fear.

Computers Can Be Wrong

AI sounds confident even when it's completely wrong. Kids learn to check things, ask “how would I know if that's true,” and build the habit of verifying before believing.

Being Safe and Being Kind

Privacy, chatbots, strangers, and images. Kids learn what not to share, what to do when something online feels wrong, and why using these tools to embarrass or harm someone else causes real damage.

Making Cool Stuff

The creative session. Kids build something with AI — art, a story, a project — and learn where their own ideas end and the tool's contribution begins.

For the Grown-Ups

A companion session for parents and educators covering what's actually happening in classrooms, how to set boundaries that hold, and how to answer the questions kids are already asking.
