NSF STEM for All Video Hall

Presented at the NSF STEM for All Video Hall, alongside colleagues at The Young People's Project, Boston Public Schools, Bootstrap, and Boston University.

This research-practice partnership aims to increase the number of computer science teachers by designing, evaluating, and iterating on a professional development model that includes trained "College STEM Literacy Workers" who work alongside teachers in the classroom.

The goal: provide professional development for BPS teachers using a culturally responsive and sustaining classroom model of instruction developed by The Young People's Project and the Algebra Project, integrating Bootstrap CS curriculum into existing 9th grade algebra classrooms.
